What if Everyone Read the Same Book?
Thursday, January 25th at 7:00pm – 8:30pm
Audubon Branch of the Buffalo and Erie County Library
350 John James Audubon Pkwy, Buffalo, NY 14228
The next discussion of My Jewish Year will focus of on the modern holiday of Tu B’Shevat – known as the festival or birthday of trees, together with the Mussar trait of Chesed/Loving Kindness. As I read today of the latest natural disaster in California, I couldn’t help but think about the importance of trees, and how the loss of so many trees in the recent fires increased the flooding and deathly mudslides.
This program is part of a series of conversations and all are welcome – whether you have read the book or attended the first two sessions!
Please contact me, susan@bjebuffalo.org or 204-5380 for more information or to register (RSVP’s are not necessary but are appreciated.)
